Success Story for Michael

Curtis is a high-energy, compassionate and engaging person. My first interaction with him began with a massive smile and firm handshake as he welcomed me and my colleagues to the Fall 2020 IBE Certificate Program. The program was well-curated and provided valuable insights and perspectives to a broad range of topics related to entrepreneurship in the biotech industry. It also included a thorough personality assessment, guided by Curtis himself, which helped the attendees get a better sense of their personalities and how those personalities affect how they interact with others. I really enjoyed my time in the Program. It culminated in a competition where we worked in groups to develop an idea of a business or product using the knowledge gained through the duration of the course. The program was an immersive experience, and I learned a lot. However, I think the most important takeaway from the week was the connections I made while participating in it. I met many people working in a wide variety of professions like investors, lawyers, and CEOs of companies big and small. They were all great people to get to know and I can't wait to see how I can leverage this network in the future!

The IBE Difference

The IBE brings the specialized know-how and the funding required for translational development success.

The IBE is a lean operating company that uses disciplined processes, leverages existing resources (incubators, CROs), and taps into expert networks to work on many product opportunities in parallel, rather than trying to build one startup at a time.
